The Elf is Working His Magic and Veruca is Now Vadario’s Pimp

Listen, I in no way want you to watch seven minutes and 23 seconds of my children.  This website does more than just terrify innocent citizens; it’s a journal of my family’s life.  When I’m dead, the kids should have a fairly accurate account of their childhoods that they can read.  I am sure that they will not be able to tear themselves away from all seven minutes and 23 seconds, but I don’t expect others to watch all that.  Let me summarize:  Kids sing horribly off-key, Veruca is the sole decisionmaker in their relationship, DD could be slightly autistic, and THE ELF IS WORKING!  There are brief glimmers of reciprocal kindness expressed to one another.

They are very committed to doing these shows — they’re working on a name — and I encourage it, if only because it’s seven minutes and 23 seconds of my day in which they aren’t annoying the fuck out of me.  ”Is it lunch yet?  Is it lunch now?  It’s light outside … I think it’s lunchtime!”

Anyway, if there is any “must see” portion, I’d say that you should fast forward to 5:54 to hear Veruca sing The Farmer in the Dell complete with the chorus of “My Ho Vadario.”

Me too! I don’t have children yet, but seeing this video I felt I really miss my beautiful niece and nephew. By the way, V seems soo much like my niece!

    Try says:

Why, you’re their favorite mom! heh

I trained my kids to say: “You’re the best mother I’ve ever had in ALL MY LIVES.” That pretty much covers it.

Wendie, Veruca is a pistol! Or should I say Grace? Devil Dog AKA Jack will grow into his own. V and DD will be close for life until the end. That is one of the best gifts you can ever give your child.

I’ve never heard you talk. You ARE from Boston! My favorite Wendie words: Garden and Spider…I couldn’t even try to mimic the sound. That’s okay, I have a southern accent and you probably couldn’t mimic my sounds!

I just got around to watching the whole video. I loved the beginning when they begged you not to turn the camera off but “my ho vaderio” made me laugh until I cried! Such sweet children!
